Review For Website my website

hey I have a website and I kinda wanna know what is wrong with it. Im still working on the content but for design. The URL is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/.

The whole flash thing for your site is somewhat original, so that's cool. Try to make the whole thing a bit bigger (or at least the text), and try to center it. Also, put some rollover effects on the side links to spice it up a notch. Putting some nice large text on the banner, too so that it won't look so bare.I'm not sure if you want to continue doing it though because making a flash site will use a lot of bandwidth, and worst of all, it will be really hard to get a good stream of visitors since the Google spiders cannot read text inside flash files.Good stuff overall though.

If you're going to do a site in Flash, you're going to need a preloader. I spent 2 minutes staring at a white box on a black background and then it timed out.

the white box actually took like 10 seconds to load. i don't think you have any problem except the fact that you don't have any porno

Hehe, that page took me two seconds to load. DSL is finally...doing something good for me. Its a good page overall. 8/10But you might want to center the entire thing or it'll look really strange.

Aside from the animation in the header/banner I no reason for making the whole site in Flash. Even if you wanted rollover effects on your buttons, I think you will still be better using javascript or CSS for the button effects. If you're going to make a Flash site, use Flash effectively with lots of animation and effects, otherwise there really is no point.

While you don't need to make your site as elaborate, the point is to have plenty of animation and sound, that is what Flash is all about. Remember also that as snlildude87 pointed out, Flash sites do not perform well with search engine spiders.

Based on the flash content, I'd rate it as a 7/10.

I just want to add that this eye4u.com site is really GREAT! I've never seen a site that better uses flash until now. (not that I've seen many, but anyway...) I like it! I wonder if it loads fast on 56k since I'm using ADSL??WOW I've just finished watching some of their work and I think they made some of the best (if not the best) flash animations on this planet!! Amazing!

this template has a lot of potential! As someone said, it would be neat if the buttons on the side had some kind of rollover effect on them. And then the font in the main section should be different- bigger, and maybe a some sans-serif font?

Tha red water effect is very cool. I also think that you might do an html/css site inserting the two pieces of flash in two cells (up and down). Or at least make some effect in the button?s rollover. I also would change the typography. The size of the buttons are not the same for the five of them and the same with the vertical alignment of the text inside. I don?t know if this is desired or not.As fot that flash site, eye4u.com it?s awesome, really dynamic, fast... the only proble is that this kind of sites tend to end up tiring the visitor. But is brilliant though.

I like the feel of the site but maybe there are just too many backgrounds on the page. The text isn't very readable either. But good work none the less. Hope to see it when it's completed.round
