Many people use phpBB,Invision Power Board to make english forum.But did you hear about on Discuz??I am Hong Kong people and i can tell you about that.Discuz is created by mainland China.Many people use it for chinese forum.It is freeware but of course you can apply for business version.Since it is free of charge, peolpe can improve it togeter.I think Discuz is more powerful than phpBB and Invision Power Board.Because it have many functions such as ,Devil system, pet center,game centre, court,etc..etc........It also have many styles to display.Unfortunately, Discuz only have simplified chinese and tradditional chinese verions.I hope there will have english version later.It's really great!!~Just for sharing my feelings only.

how to have the discuz powered forum?

Nope, haven't heard of it. There is no point of it anyway if you don't speak chinese. It sounds like it could be a good forum though. Although many forums have add ons like a game system, the army system, and things that make your forum better and more advanced. Invision Power Board, and PHPBB both have many things like that. They all have many different styles as well. I guess it just really depends on what you like.

i have heard discuz.net cause when i download from china bbs or server or i need some proxy or mail by the way...! i have seen this powerfull forum board everywhere on chinese sites! so i have downloaded it (20MB or more) it's very well coded and have much functions! i have translate some part of it! ;D (but language file are very BIG )someone want help me to do this!?-aSeptik

Thank you for sharing an English Version of Discuz coz, yeah... That's my prob too! Discuz has more functions and features compared to other forum softwares (like phpBB, Forumotion etc.) but unfortunately I can't understand Chinese so I find it hard to have one, I'm really happy that an English version came out!

Guys, Discuz 7.0 just came out, it is much more powerful than this english version, since it is only 5.0.

Discuz 6.1 is much more better than the version 5.0, and version 7.0 is even better than 6.1. I think you guys should check it out!

Hi, I'd like to know if there's any other forum software around which provides a greater security level than Discuz 7.0

Btw, I though Discuz! Board forum isn't free, paid for the forum thing. Unfortunately, there's a hacker cyber stalking this forum..So yeah, any suggestions would be great! Thanx in advance.
