My Website

Recommended Posts

You posted this in the wrong forum. I'll move it to the right one after I finish typing.Second, your site displayes the Xisto default page when I go to it. Try replacing the index.html file inside the www folder or the public_html folder first. Also, you were talking in first person plural about making adjustments. Who's the other person? One last thing, what's your site about and how do you plan to make it popular?

devildude93, I visited your site, and all I saw was the default "new account" page. You should probably wait to tell everyone about your site until you actually have something there to see! :huh:

huh, how you get so many people to visit your site?good content and then put it in search engines?the only way that i'm familiar with getting traffic with traffic exchanges, just that manual traffic exchanges are too manual and auto traffic exchanges, too ineffective.

  I think you put keywords or something in your page, and get people to link to you, I think that's how google works.

Not directly, but by using PHP Nuke, they have put keywords like this:

....

<META NAME="AUTHOR" CONTENT="Livin It Large">

<META NAME="COPYRIGHT" CONTENT="Copyright © by Livin It Large">

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="Games, Teens, Forums, Forum, Game, Miniclip, Monkey, Chat, Chat Room, Chat Rooms, Flash Games, Fun, Free">

<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="Free games, forums and loads more!">

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW">

<META NAME="REVISIT-AFTER" CONTENT="1 DAYS">

<META NAME="RATING" CONTENT="GENERAL">

<META NAME="GENERATOR" CONTENT="PHP-Nuke - Copyright by [url="http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Google looks for those robots.txt files first I think!

The best way to get a lot of hits is too make your site as relevant and on-topic as possible. Use many of the same keywords, bold the important stuff, and make sure your website is search-engine friendly code-wise. This way, google will pick it up easily
