I use freebb.com It has a nice board, but is simple. It is very functional if you are not looking for anything fancy. There are others out there, just google it. Good luck man!

There are forum scripts already pre installed on your host.Go under Cgi Scripts (I think...) and look for Invisionboard, or PhpBb.Otherwise, you can go to https://www.phpbb.com/ , download, upload via FTP and run the installer.ORGo to https://invisionpower.com/features/apps purchase an Ipb License, upload via FTP and run the installer.ORGo to https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl and download something else and upload it.ORGo to https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl and download something illegal and upload it but risk your account deletion(I think...) and board deletion.I don't recommend using the illegal boards at all. :ph34r:I recommend you use the InvisionBoard thats already on the host.

That forum is powered by vBoard, of who's cost I don't know. I do know that there is a Mambo component/module that intergrates it with your Mambo site. I used Simpleboard under Mambo, but didn't totally like it, especially having to administrate a whole huge forum.

Sorry, I meant vBulletin. I've found many forums that use it, and it provides many features. Mamboserver.com uses the vBridge component, and it makes it go in nicely with the rest of the site. vBulletin in not free ($160 USD), but is very advanced. phpBB is also very popular, and is open source (and therefore free).

The easiest way to create a forum that I can recommend you is phpbb.

If you haven't got much time, and want to see what the new phpbb3 can offer, just try it out on this host : free forum

Hope it will help!
