Why Did They Have To Go And Do That?

Recommended Posts

I know, it seems that everytime a language is written, it gets changed over and over and over... I suppose that they are just keeping it current, and trying to improve it over time. Still, it does get a little time consuming having to re-learn a lot of little things.

????[/tab]At least you didn't waste 3 years of college courses learning about Modula (the old Apple language) and the following year they decided it was C++ that was going to be the "universal" coding language.[tab]Two years thereafter, Java was the IT language that everyone had to know in order to get just your foot into an interview room. I'm telling ya, someone is making whole lotta mula and it ain't me.

 They've already changed HTML 4 times! I only know HTML 1.0! Man...

I'm too lazy to learn HTML again!

Unless you learned HTML more than a decade ago, I doubt you know HTML 1.0. HTML 4.0 has been around since 1997. And it's not a case of having to learn it again - just a few new things here & there.

Actually, I just learnt in another thread that this may not be as certain. Check out the discussion Brjn & I have been having on this subject.
