They only temporarily store your files, so if you close the browser window or if they think you downloaded the file already, they delete it from their server...

Hehe san, I'm not a java engineer, I'm still learning it. I used to be interested in making cheatbots for games like runescape(lol)....but that game sucks now so I don't wanna make a cheatbot...I use the BlueJ java compiler/IDE(Interface Developement Environment) but you require the Sun JDK before you can use the BlueJ compiler

I usually use the one at MethodGamer.comIt's fairly simple and easy to use and is constantly undergoing development. They are supposedly looking for developers as well and you do not have to worry about the safety of your code as they do not save the code on their servers but allow you to save it on your own computer. That's the only one I know of though.Hope this helped.

Hi!

I haven't been able to try MethodGamer.com yet as my RDP bandwidth is too low to support the graphics.

I did try the link mentioned by the original poster though. The actual URL is:
innovatiova

I've noticed that you can upload multiple source files at a time and can compile with the 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 Java compilers. It's been maintained since 1995! That's a whole 14 years ago.

This was indeed one that I had tried not long ago, and still is in my bookmarks. It was a useful link to keep around when I took my Java class in the fall because you can always edit the code in a simple text editor even when you're not sitting at a computer with some form of a Java compiler installed (which in our case was jGrasp). Can't say that I've enjoyed Java too much, nor have I used this page too many times, but indeed it is a pretty good compiler. Obviously, for privacy sake, it's not the best idea in the world if you don't want someone to steal your code away from you (you can't be certain what the website collects, or that someone isn't intercepting your uploaded code along the way). But if you don't have a large reason to be concerned over that, I would certainly suggest it.The nicest deal about it is the fact that it allows you to upload several files at one time and then download the compiled files from a single zip folder...sweet!

I suggest , just download the JDK and use Jcreator as a compiler, what if the internet is off? mmm I tried to run one of my source code but it doesn't give me the correct output im seeing on my compiler..

There are situations when you have access to internet and can't download anything from it. JDK is huge download and if i remember correctly the size of JDK is appx 60/70MB. Right ? so you want to run a java program and can't download any software then what will you do ? Nothing ? in such case this type of software online is always a better choice.
