PHP 5.0.0 Released! Anyone has tried to install PHP5????

EXACTLY, Php 5 has not builtin support for MySQL and instead it has support for mysqllite. So i hate it. LOL

No way...a new one already? I had enough of a headache installing PHP4 B) But if it doesn't support mySQL unless you do some tweaking, I guess that gives me a reason to stay outdated :P

Stay with PHP 4 Chelcy. I think tha is the best idea because the new version was published with bugs and they need some time to clean them! By the way, PHP4 was very easy to install and setup to me and about the new version supports, a friend told me that is possible do this uncommenting a line in the .ini file but until now I havent time to try

;extension=php_mssql.dll;extension=php_msql.dll
;extension=php_mysql.dll


Find your php.ini
remove the ';' ,and you can access mysql.
