PHP 5.0.0 Released! Anyone has tried to install PHP5????

Hey everybody, anyone make PHP5 works fine?? I tried but the MySQL dont work :-(

EXACTLY, Php 5 has not builtin support for MySQL and instead it has support for mysqllite. So i hate it. LOL

A friend of ICQ is telling me that must uncomment one line in .ini and use a special.dll to work.... by the way, only at night I'll try this and tomorrow I post here the result.

No way...a new one already? I had enough of a headache installing PHP4 But if it doesn't support mySQL unless you do some tweaking, I guess that gives me a reason to stay outdated

Stay with PHP 4 Chelcy. I think tha is the best idea because the new version was published with bugs and they need some time to clean them! By the way, PHP4 was very easy to install and setup to me and about the new version supports, a friend told me that is possible do this uncommenting a line in the .ini file but until now I havent time to try

Well honestly, this is no use to me unless someone could point me to a site where i could learn php IF you could help this would be greatly apprecitated

PHP.net would be a good start. Then there's MelonFire and Webmonkey. You might also want to Google it, use the search section above, it'll make admin happy

Find your php.ini
remove the ';' ,and you can access mysql.
