duptyfied 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2012 Alcatel is known for making mobile phones, which are value for money as well as sophisticated. The Alcatel Onetouch 990 runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. It has a 3.5 inch screen and weighs 144gm. The touch is very smooth and sensitive and the finish of the phone is good, for a phone that Rs.10000 online. The resolution of the phone is good but the photos all have a bluish tinge, even though it has a 5 megapixels at its disposal with LED flash and auto focus. The phone cries out for more internal memory, as every time you download an app, it shows low phone memory. Considering that not all apps can be shifted from phone memory to memory card, this becomes a problem. When the phone memory is low, even the text messages are rejected. This phone is 3G ready up to 7.2 mbps; it also has a Wi-Fi support, which is all powered by a 1300mAH battery. The earphones that come with the phone are not appealing at all and the phone does seem power efficient.
