I suppose my favourite alltime anime is Naruto, it is just a classic. hansley 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 Hehehehehe...I have many favourites in Manga. Because I cannot pick one, so I guess I'll just state all of them.My favourites animanga are:1. Slam Dunk: A story of an high school ex-bouncer student who start playing basketball to attract a girl and apparently he has a thing for it. Very good in building emotions and has a great action to it. Although the fighting scene is minor, but the battle of basketball talents in the court is tense.2. Naruto: Almost no one doesn't know Naruto. A story of a shinobi kid who inherits the legendary power of a nine tail. A story of friendship and the struggle in life. It has a very tense fighting scene and a lot of ninja jutsus.3. Shin Kotaro: A story about a young karate kid who although sometimes is a pervert...well most of the time...is a responsible and kind person. He faces many challanges from his high school. The opponents he faced are karate experts, ninjas, judo specialists, and others. It is basically a martial art manga, added with a romance and funny storyline. Anyway, animes I like also include: Bleach Full Metal Alchemist(quite harsh story and really sad ending :'( Chrno Crusade(no it's not involved at all with any of the Chrono games)Outlaw Star .hack series(different from usual animes) Inuyasha Last Exile Ghost in the Shell Gundam Series(Gundam SEED is the best) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brokebloke 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2005 Old school :-Ninja Scrolland the OEDO 808 episodes (3)Never did like Doomegalopolis or whatever its called, seen so many but those two stand out above others, not exactly a popular choice but there what I remember and enjoyed most, oh yeah, Street Fighter the first manga was awesome, surprised no one has mentioned it. I forgot a few others as well, uh, yeah, there's ninja scroll, I watched the whole anime before the movie, thinking the movie was set and made after the anime lol. I also like Hellsing, but quite short anime like ninja scroll and I also like Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Rave Master is quite decent as well, but I have only seen the english version and the japanese version is apparently supposed to be better. Big O too but it was quite short. There is also Shaman King, which is quite good and doesn't have half a bad story line either. But, like I said, artwork and conversations make up for lack of understanding.Favorite anime? It's a tie. Gundam Wing and Dragon Ball Z. Yeah, I know, lame. Gundam Wing, just flat out awesome. I love mechs and everything about them. Story was great, characters were cool too. But, Wing Gundam? Heavyarms? Incredible.Dragon Ball Z? Come on, who hasn't wished they could fly around and grow yellow hair that is twice their body? Being able to shoot out energy balls from your hands? Priceless.
