storing the timeMS Excel -- Automatic Update Of Data

I am designing an excel sheet and giving it to my team to make certain entries to it.

My query is, 

I need to have certain slot in my excel sheet that will record the time when that particular slot was entered. Say I have 3 updates to be made by my tea, and I need to know when these slots were updated. 

Please suggest the solution step wise for my understanding.
