Can We Publish Hosting Reseler Websites (from Other Companies)?

Recommended Posts

This may be considered somewhat cheeky, even if its not against any rules, so I thought I'd better check before I even think of doing this. You see, I already have a free resellers account with another company. It's free to join and they give you stock standard (premade) but modifiable web sites. The stores are monetized with the companies own billing system by default and published on the companies own server. The existing stores, are modified with a web interface offering only limited, discreet choices. Heres the problem. If I want to combine other products and services to add value or modify the website code, or even replace it with my own and use the API for access to functional code and databases on the company servers, then I need to have at least a hosting account with them or else make my own store elsewhere. Given that I would like to host all of my projects in one place and I do have an added service (graphics), that I wish to embellish my reseller hosting packages with, I had intended to build a custom website as a one stop shop for several services combined. I would have hoped it could be on my hosting account right here. But I notice there are resellers plans also available here and I thought that it might go against the grain a bit. After all I would be on-selling a competitors hosting. I would rather hope that this might not be frowned, upon and that it is not considered unethical. I don't see any rules it breaks, but of course I don't want to rock the boat. I shopped very carefully for a brand which suited my needs. Some resellers have several suppliers. I might even wish to add one or two more myself I certainly don't want to do away with one of the better ones. I will be willing to consider adding the local offering, as well even, if selling the other product is no problem. As always, any advice is greatly appreciated in advance.Regards Skepticus
