FirefoxRocks 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 I have installed PHP5+Apache2.2 and now I am trying to configure the DocumentRoot folder. I am running Windows XP SP3.By default it is the htdocs folder within the Apache2.2 folder. I want it to point to a folder on another computer so I have tried a few options: Y:/Desktop/Shared\\192.168.0.199/someuser/Desktop/Shared\\MAIN-PC/someuser/Desktop/Shared//MAIN-PC/someuser/Desktop/Shared//192.168.0.199/someuser/Desktop/SharedAll of them have not worked so far. The Windows Event Log reports an error from the Apache Service when starting saying that "DocumentRoot must be a directory", which I'm sure it is. I can access the directory fine in Windows Explorer and I have read/write access. I can start the service under my account or the SYSTEM account, neither will work. One thing that I can try is to map a network drive/connect to it under SYSTEM, but I don't know how to do that. Otherwise can anyone help me with this problem?
