Fun4TheMoney 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Today I was playing with some of my digital photos and came up with a cute little puzzle picture, using the mouse over feature. I got the brilliant idea to publish it as a "picture of the week" and give it away as a nice way to get links back from other sites.Unfortunately, when I tested it on another computer, it doesn't work because I didn't include the <head> data. Now I'm concerned that it's going to get so complicated I'll just frustrate any beginning webmasters who try to use it.Shoud I add another code box with the header stuff in it? Is there an easier way? Am I asking for trouble and should just let them link to my photos instead? Is it stupid and I should just forget about it and move on? Any other ideas? Here's the link, so you can see what I'm trying to do and where I went wrong.Puzzle PictureTIA for your help.Suz
snlildude87 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Ahh yes, the good ol' Dreamweaver rollover code. Personally, i don't like this code because it's too complicated. Here's what I'd do: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/9135-make-image-change-when-hovered-wo-flash-how/^My instructions from another post. Feel free to copy and paste the entire thing to your site. Yes, you should add another code box that will include the HTML code to add between the <head> tags if you plan to stick with yours.

It looks like two code boxes with yours, too. Maybe I'll just put all that on a separate page and link to it. That way, anybody who likes my little photos but doesn't want to fool with the code, can just link to it, without seeing all that stuff. I may look for a real puzzle program, too, since these really aren't puzzles at all. Thanks again. Suz
