JohnNitro 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2008 Omg I can't believe he died. He was so funny, Did anyone know about this or is interested? 50 years old is a young age to die at, hope he lived a full life and enjoyed it to the max. I like watching a lot of his movies, his brand of comedy was unique to his experience. I think once i get enough credits I will make a post on my site about him and his roles through out his life.Does anyone remember any movies or role he played that they liked?I liked Guess Who a movie with him and Ashton kutcher, I thought he was so funny. I also like the advice he gave and the way the story played out. I wonder if he was like any of his characters in real life. You can never judge an actor by the movies the have made. Well hope we was a good person as well, that way people aren't talking smack about you after you die. That would suck, if when you die people are happy and talking smack about you. What was your favorite movie that Bernie Mac was in?Just asking, because I want to know if people even knew that he died or if this is the first you are hearing about it. Well hope you all have some positive things to say about this topic or make constructive comments.Regards,-JohnNitro
Running With Scissors1405241561 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) Yeah I was sad to hear that because he was pretty young. I heard he had sarcoidosis which is some kind of lung disease but it was pneumonia that killed him.I really didn't watch too many of his movies but I did see Pride and a few others. So I would have to say Pride even though thats not even in my top five favorite sports movies. Still I was sad to hear he past away. Soda1405241561 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2008 I remember when I would come home and immediately turn on the tv just to hear his funny stories and say "Hello America".That was probably one of my favorite shows. ;'( I'm gonna miss him.
skedad 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2008 It is very sad to hear... and it is becoming way too common nowadays, too. I mean all I am hearing nowadays is war, floods, and death... ok, that was a bit much, but really... If it is not a cancer, it is maybe a fluke and some off the wall disease.I think that celebrities are either taking overly care of themselves with like trainers that they can shell out money for... or they are on the other end of the spectrum out partying and just being bad to themselves.Bernie Mac... I have seen so many of his great work... and now he is gone forever... It's just too bad... but he will be missed, and I will enjoy him every time I keep seeing his shows and movies.
