We cannot say "Money is the root of all evil" in fact without money in this world you have nothing. Because money helps you serve your purpose of living. Like it's said a person's basic requirement is food, clothing and shelter but you can have none of this without having money in your hand. even if you need a one time meal you need to pay for it. So money is the most essential part of our daily living. The day you end up with no money it means no life. Because no one will come and serve you saying "You don't have money, let me help you" but rather when you don't have money no one will ask you or even pay attention at you. People judge you according to your earning. Money also determines your reputation whether which class do you belong to (Lower class, middle class, upper class or rich -_- ). Every single thing in this world is earned by money. We all can see when our economic rates rise and fall how it affects us. Basic requirements, transport, luxury etc.

Also money cannot be the root cause of all evil. Though at times people might misuse it and become greedy because humans no matter how much they have are always unsatisfied. But it all depends on us how we handle our finances and how we make proper use of it. If we want we can manage our finances properly and live a happy life or else we can misuse it and live a miserable life. It totally depends on us. Because a beggar on the street also suffers because he doesn't have money and a stinking rich person also suffers because he has a enormous bank balance.

We used to learn in our science lessons that friction is a necessary evil.If its not there no vehicle will ever stop. its there so we have to lubricate every vehicle to maintain its wear and tear. The same holds true for money. Its necessity makes one drop all his morals and tempts to do anything and everything whether that deed is in the lines of honesty or not.Its necessity makes a mother also so self centered that she forgets her child's welfare. Its necessity on one hand makes a man slave following commands like a robot and on the other hand the master holding the power of money behave like an almighty. So money holds the power to make someone both a slave and a master.Equipped with money one can enjoy all sorts of opportunities knocking their door of life from education in abroad to going for a vacation trip in any place of choice.Money fulfills wishes, bestows power in the hands of the person bearing it.So apparently it seems that money always puts a person in an advantageous position who has money in his hands. But it also spoils that person who indulges in all sorts of ill ways of getting entertainment through money.Another big side effect is the general psychology we humans have i.e not to be contended with what we have.So even if a person accumulates a lot of money in his life he can't restrict his greedy instinct to acquire more. This money hunting instinct makes a person ignore all intimate relationships he shares with the people close by.So like Science that has gifted all its wonderful applications to us,money too provides us with everything in the world we want but can me misused if we tend to use it in a wrong manner. So misutilizing money in wrong direction and overutilization of resources by using money tends to make money as the most evil thing in the world. Its always in our hand to use it in positive/negative manner. And that can happen only when we tend to become master of money and not the slave of it.Money if put in worthful causes can prove as wonder and can play miraculous role in improving the lives of so many homeless and needy people. So its in our control to utilize the immense power of money judiciously..
