bhupinder 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Well i was searching around and i found Nvu. So i downloaded it took hardly any space at all, but you can put in HTML codes and then see the preview and there are many options in there you can set up the page with out using HTML and then after it will convert it into HTML. I used it for a while but then i got these MCcodes and now im going to edit them after i get the host..
Sten 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 i code everything myself in PHP Designer. i havent used a what you see is what you get editor in ages, i hate using them. when you open most sites in them it just wrecks it and if you use it as an HTML editor and preview it, it also usually changes your code and wrecks it. i have thousands of them installed, nvu, firstpage, dreamweaver mx and 8 and others i cant remember. but i only use notepad and php designer. Quatrux 4 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 Yeah, I'm also using PHP Designer for my coding, never trusted and liked those tools, maybe because I started doing it by hand, even though PHP Designer is quite helpful IDE in understanding your code ;DI don't really use Notepad, I use Notepad2 for simple things as default.. Also I heard about NVU, I just hope more people will use it instead of Frontpage ;D
