Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I just want to build a dream pc, it will be very fast and powerful. I am very particular about mother boards. "EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 nForce 780i SLI“ seems to very nice, I find it in newegg but later on it showed up even better price 275.99 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ://http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ where can I find the product review?

nForce chipset is a good choice. The 780 is the latest performer. But I would recommend you to go for slightly for popular brand like ASUS, Abit, Gigabyte and so on. Maybe EVGA is popular in your place, but I've never heard of it. If it's popular then it's ok. For high performance motherboard, it's a bit tricky to get it to work properly sometime. If it's less popular, you might not get BIOS update as often as those well known brand. Sometime you just need it to solve some hardware incompatibility. Considering the rate of technological advances these days.
Other than that, the rest of the specs looks good.

Hope you'll enjoy your new Rig

I have to agree it is a solid board and has a sweet set up too. As for Dream computer you would have to use a 64x OS in order to get half of the RAM slots working since 64x is the only version that can use at least 4 gigs. Other then that somone would have a hard time trying to crack that piece of hardware and anything connected to it, and the price is worth it .
