Sten 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2007 once it loads ill see if my favourite open source program ever is on there!nup, doesnt have it on there. so as number 1 best open source program ever is... Paint.NET!!! it replaced photoshop for me! i havent used photoshop for months, paint.net is way better and free. although you do need the microsoft .net framework to use it.i have quite a few programs that were in that list. To know the best open source programs go to https://www.osalt.com/ to find alternatives for those programs that are damn expensive and too proprietary. However, comparing the reviews of those open source software from both sites, osalt website seems more comprehensive. But of course there's much more projects in sourceforge.com.
