Vdsl2 In New Zealand

Recommended Posts

"Orcon has signed a NZ$30 million deal with Siemens to roll out VDSL2 in 2007. Orcon's network will cover Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Hastings, Napier, Tauranga, Hamilton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth with "packages of broadband, video services, internet television and a phone line for $50 to $60 a month" NZ HeraldThis is good to hear as in New Zealand, A home phone line costs $45 per month and the internet is about $50 a month for an ADSL FLS down 128kbps down with 16GB bandwidth... 16GB isn't hard to use up for someone who downloads alot. I'm guessing I will have to buy a VDSL2 modem but it'd be worth it. Any countries that already have it?
