3- In the File Download box, click Run.

4- When the download is complete, click Run.

5- When prompted to install Windows Live Messenger, click Next.

6- Read and accept the terms of the license agreement, and click Next.

7- Select the additional features you want. Click Next.

8- Click Continue to let the installation proceed.

9- When installation is complete, click Close.

10- Type your e-mail address and password to sign in. The e-mail address you'll use must be a .NET or Microsoft Passport, a Hotmail e-mail address, an MSN e-mail address, or a Windows Live ID.
