soleimanian 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2007 Download and Install Windows Live Messenger in Windows Vista Windows Live Messenger is an awesome instant messaging program. With it, you can set up video and voice conferences with anyone who has compatible software. You can send files, even really big ones you wouldn't dare send in an e-mail, play games with others, share files, give and receive remote assistance, and more. Since Windows Live Messenger doesn't come with Windows Vista, you'll need to download and install it. If you've never downloaded and installed anything, you'll be happy to find that it's quite effortless. To download and install Windows Live Messenger, follow these steps: 1-In the Welcome Center, under Offers From Microsoft, double-click Download Windows Live Messenger. 2- Read the information on the Windows Live Messenger home page, and click Get It Free. 3- In the File Download box, click Run. 4- When the download is complete, click Run. 5- When prompted to install Windows Live Messenger, click Next. 6- Read and accept the terms of the license agreement, and click Next. 7- Select the additional features you want. Click Next. 8- Click Continue to let the installation proceed. 9- When installation is complete, click Close. 10- Type your e-mail address and password to sign in. The e-mail address you'll use must be a .NET or Microsoft Passport, a Hotmail e-mail address, an MSN e-mail address, or a Windows Live ID.
