Installing KDE On FC5 w/ Gnome

i would expect the rpm's post install cionfig script to add the desktop to kdm / gdm / whatever login manager you are using.

Fedora Core have a robust security..
they keep on pacthing that one

i remembered that fedora have blocked my access on the same machine when i tried to modiy some settings..

i like the fedora displays.. much more fin-tastic

Actually to install KDE, you'll do:

su -c "yum groupinstall 'KDE (K Desktop Environment)'"

That should find all the required files to install the KDE environment and download it from the internet. Or you could do it from the CD unless you want the latest KDE.
