Omkar™ 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2006 Methods for Verification of Identity? My website, Omkarâs Hub, features invites to Google Services on request, for which I have put up a form. Now, keeping up the very reason why Google kept its service âInvitation Onlyâ, I have to see to it that no spammers get into Google Networks via my site. For this purpose, I need to verify the identity of the requestors, and see to it that they are NOT spammers! I have devised the following methods of verification- Forum Subscription - If you are a registered member of any recognized forum, then please provide the following details, Your Username/ScreenName in the forum Forum Name and URL Digital Certificate - If you own a digital certificate that confirms your identity through a recognized provider, please, Attest a copy of the digital certificate and e-mail it to the address provided below. Friends - If you can have at least 5 individuals to guarantee your identity, please, Have them e-mail us at the address given below, claiming that they know you and guarantee your identity. Any Other - If you believe that any other method would prove your identity to us, then please do so, reporting us at the address given below. Now, I have found that only the first method works for most people. Not many people have Digital Certificates. No one ever seems to get 5 individuals to guarantee their identity. The âAny Otherâ thing doesnât seem to work for, well, anybody! So, I request you to suggest me some (more) viable methods of verification of oneâs identity. Please note that most of these requests are from foreign countries, and it is not possible for me to come in direct contact with these requestors. All your help will be duly acknowledged. ---- Disclaimer:Omkar's Hub is not associated with the Google Networks in any way whatsoever, it just avails of the private 'invitation' service provided by Google, which is available to the webmaster(s) of Omkar's Hub, as a GMail Account Holder.
