ccb_v2 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I've come up with a much simpler question using only math. To garrantee its ease I chose one from grade school, so everyone here with half a mind should be able to answer it. There are a thousand lockers standing in a row. A boy comes along and opens every locker A second boy comes along and closes every second locker A third boy comes along and goes to every third locker and if its open, closes it, and if its closed, opens it. A fourth boy comes along and repeats for every fourth locker. etc. This continues till the one thousandth boy closes the one thousandth locker. How many lockers are still open? I'll leave the original question reproduced below. The winner will be either the best answer to the above problem or any halfway decent answer to the below problem by Sunday (as I assume someone will answer the above problem by then). 179222[/snapback]
