She got in the church; the doors were opened. The black veil covered her hair and eyes, not a smile on her lips was seen. The empty hall echoed the silence heard by no one. The girl kneeled by God and prayed, looking at His son?s cross, asking for mercy. Her voice broke the silence like a blade and that hand was felt; full of warm and sanctity. The priest kneeled with her ? for her.- Father? I?ve sinned?The faces, they were looking. The voices, rising in a chorus. The altar was cold. It was waiting to be filled with the warm and holiness of that hand and the sin of that body.And they came, singing for those ones to be forsaken. Singing; for their crime to be forgiven, for the fires still burning in the deeps. Their faces were covered by the veils and in the hands of those leading, a candle was carried. The march ended in a circle around the sacred lovers. The voices rose stronger. Her body was now naked and sin was no longer pronounced on her lips. And sin was no longer thought in his head.When, then, the lights fade out. Only the light from the window of the top reflected their bodies. The voices sang no more.
