pomjim 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2005 Japan is once again pushing for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. I have 2 questions on this subject.1/ How would the Asian countries react? Considering that Japan invaded most of them during WW11, and there is still a hell of a lot of bad feeling about it. 2/ Would it not make more sense to do away with the permanent members entirely?
