organicbmx 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2005 i know of a magazine who has just got it. one neat thing about it is that you can drag layouts from indesign into golive and creat a page. I guess its pretty good and its very cutting edge as it is almost exclusivly css.p.s. the correct forum is probably /designing/web design and html/

max bitt 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2005 I have it and wow you can make easy web templates in in matter of minutes. I mean it's even better than frontpage. Well maybe not better, but Go Live got more advanced features that are easily accesable to users that just started to learn how to make web templates.Overall GoLive does the same as Frontpage but it's just easier I think or in my experiece. Any ways I still like Frontpage better.
Zony 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2005 Well, I am a coder, and not a template-user to say it that way, so for me is Dreamveawer better anyway Cos it is easy to code there, you have many extra things, like if you start at the code, you can just scroll down to the rest of it, very easy and good. But still Frontpage and Go Live are enough to make a powerful and professional websites.
Grafitti 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 I think that Frontpage is almost the simplest thing you can find, then Go Live is a bit above average, and Dreamweaver is simply tops. there are probably a few functions that go live does better than dreamweaver, but overall, dreamweaver is much more of a powerhouse. Still, i keep them both on my computer, because when you're trying to create web pages quickly, you can drag the layouts in. I'm not a coder, i prefer the visual approach, so that's probably why.
