whistle 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2005 The following is my code in one of my page: <script src=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/hitcounter.php?id=30;. Acutually, it will returen document.write('<a href=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/ target=_blank>');document.write('<img src=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/counter.php?id=30 border=0 align=absmiddle>');document.write('</a>'); That is, in the HTML of the page, only the "]<script src=http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/hitcounter.php?id=30; can be seen in the source code. But actually, it runs the "document.write('<a href=http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/ target=_blank>');document.write('<img src=http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/counter.php?id=30 border=0 align=absmiddle>');document.write('</a>');".As many people told that google counts the PR according those pages that comes into the page wich is counted. I have to ask whether the code "]<script src=http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/hitcounter.php?id=30; will be counted or not by google? I mean whether the code with script tage can raise my PR or not?

whistle 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2005 A script can't raise your PR in google. simply as that. What's important to google is what are the sites linking to you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I get my url out as <script src=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/hitcounter.php?id=30; to share my service. When the url out is placed within a webpage which is linked, the url out would return document.write('<a href=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/ target=_blank>');document.write('<img src=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/counter.php?id=30 border=0 align=absmiddle>');document.write('</a>'); I share my service for getting outerbound link to my website, of course for raising my PR in google. Of course, if the code as following, I get my url out and actually gain outerbound links. I think it do raise my PR in google. <a href=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/ target=_blank><img src=http://http://www.reurl.net/site/center/counter/counter.php?id=30 border=0 align=absmiddle></a> But this would lost the flexible for further modification of my service. Maybe I would like to change the above code one day, it means that my user must follow me to modify the code within their webpage. If I use the tag <script> shown as the first code in this post, I can change the return code without affecting any thing in my user's page. I wonder whether the tag <script> is a effective url out for raising my PR. This is what I mean.

bonniecool1405241509 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2005 As an observation of some search engine optimizers that google are more concerned of the quality site or pages. Google will boost your page rank if your page has a link from other sites. But not just an ordinary site that links to you. The site that links to you must have a quality website or it has a page rank that will lift you high up.Codes has nothing to do with page rank only if your code is a redirection code or codes used for cloaking, there your website will be affected or will vanish in google.I advise, Just get a link from a quality website related to your site.:-)
