Trouble Burning Music Discs With Nero it only shows a photo writer

when i try to burn a music cd off nero...it can't find any writer besides a photo writer. has anyone else had this problem?

when nero cant find the cd writer it means it is not connected or recognize by ur computer or perhaps u should re install nero see if it works.. if not it means its about the hardware.. meaning the computer did not detect the writer as a writer but just an ordinary cd drive

I've had problems while writing to the disk with nero. Sometimes i will start to burn a disk and it will error up half way through and the disk becomes useless. Then if i try the same project on itunes it works.
