sparx 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2005 I just came across this info that Google Desktop Search has new plugins for download. GDS can now index RealMedia / AVI and GAIM files amongst others. Although I'm a CDS user, I'll try out GDS in the near future and see what the fuss is all about... The ability to integrate GDS into the Firefox Search Bar seems like a good thing too. It's very heartening to see a company like Google support Firefox. The Firefox start page is the most noticeable form of support yet. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rapco 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2005 Well, i was kind of dissapointed with google desktop search, altought i find it very useful, but i wasn't able to find docs, even thought i knew where they were, i was testing out the software......I couldn't find the plug ins as usefull as i thought, i rather serach using the actual interface and all Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
