There are several companies that offer wired-broadband internet where I live and I don’t know if I should change companies. Is there anyone else out there that had direcway but made a switch? Do you have satellite for tv or just for internet?Broadband Guide is a good place to look to understand the differences and get an idea of what to ask for when calling the different companies to compare.TechSoup had a good article on the pros and cons of the different internet connections available. I'd call up each company, after looking at their website claims. Often, the real person to talk with is someone in the tech support area. They can tell you the most common problems that people call in.I have DSL myself and not satellite.
