qwijibow 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2005 Its called Linspire. Its a serverely crippled linux distro. it doesnt conme with a compiler, or any development tools.you need a subscription to linspuire to install new software.its easy to use.but in my opinion, not a very good linux distro.for comercial linux distro's Xandros is the way to go. musichere 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2005 They have done a really great job bundling themselves with some of the famous hardware vendors. In Britain they have a deal with Tiny.com which is one of the most famous (or as some would say infamous) computer makes, and this has gotten them a lot of attention. xnrevolution 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2005 I've seen it, but I'd stay away from it if you want to try out the true power and fun of Linux... it is good however for those.. shall we say? Computer Illiterate But then again, I don't believe anyone without to omuch knowledge of computers would even know what were talking about here.. I'd agree with qwijibow here if you want a commercial linux distro go for Xandros.. From what I've seen and heard about it, it looks promising... although Linspire has brought us Nvu...
