Yfael1405241492 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 What makes me curious about these sort of joint projects is will they still hold back the technology they develop to keep with supply/demand.Microsoft and Samsung joining together i'm sure could create some amazing GUI for gaming but would they actually release it full throttle or would they just give it to us piece by piece like they always do? rjgentry 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2005 well, i'm sure there will be a good chunk right out in the front to show off the new technology, but of course there has to be a market for them to keep people interested once the xbox is released, so the farther into it we go, the more amazing things we'll get i'm sure. it's just like the nintendo 64. if you wnated to play perfect dark you had to buy the add in graphics thing (i can't remember what it's called) to get the better graphics. i know i was rather amazed back then, but they look so crude now-a-days.the xbox will have to show off something substantial to draw the people who are still satisfied with their current xbox or want to keep running playstation. so i'm sure we'll see a lot. but honestly, i don't think we'll know exactly how much they're holding back until the end when they're still trying to sell games for xbox2 and are getting ready to release xbox3.Ray J Gentry IV
