redsox58 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 First off, its the motherboard that has the slot not the CPU. What type of CPU do you have? Intel or AMD? That would be needed to be able to figure out what socket type you have. If your CPU is relativly old they might not make a mobo for your socket type that has a PCI-e slot. I would like to change my question to what kind of motherboards would have the slot I would need. I'm pretty sure when I get it I'll be gettin a Pentium 4.
