That'd definitely be a very valuable feedback in improving our services. Other than that, we do hope you won't stop coming back to the forum, irrespective of the fact that you aren't availing the hosting facilities anymore. The forum could always do with some more good & useful posts. After all, it was a relativly polite request.He should have just PM'ed an Admin, but still, if he wants to leave, i dont think we should ask him to to do a writeup of why.Maybe add somthing in the rules / information about the proper way to request the termination of your account.just my opinion Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have terminated your hosting account on your request and I wish you luck for your new host.Astahost is a young company and we are trying to improve day-by-day. As far as the boards are concerned, I think we rock! Our admins and mods are one of the best and are dedicated in their work. We don't have manual installation like others and the system is automated. So as far as reliability is concerned, I think we are better than any other post to host company..However, the choice is yours. Thank You for being with us and sharing your time with our community. iGuest 3 Report post Posted April 5, 2005 Besides more space and bandwith, there is no difference beween the two hosts. 150 megs and 2gigs of bandwith are plenty for most people. Then again, if you're hosting flash movies and such I could see why you would want that. And those annoying google ads. Those realy bother me. *note* I hate google ads more than I-pods. But as long as you're happy, thats all that matters...Alright, I just checked into it further. $.25 cents a year for a subdomain, .$99 set up fee, $4.49 to upgrade to 500 megs of space. =not expensive, but not free. :PThere's no way im giving them my card number and apparently they're not accepting Paypal know. daniel151405241469 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 well i got an account with WebPlanetHost when it was owned by the old owner... he gave me a free domain name for writing a mod for Simple Machines forum (http://www.simplemachines.org/). So, i got my account for free with WebPlanetHost... i've got 2 accounts with them actually (yes, i got permission to do so). The setup fee is a once-off and there's no monthly charges so it is still considered free hosting (as opposed to 'Completely Free Hosting') As well, their forum has no ads on it, and they don't force you to post (although i've got about 270 posts there). But i must admit, not many people come to their forum anymore WHAT THE HELL is up with this...
