I Frames

Recommended Posts

Ok...this might not apply to many of you but....if your in my situation (which ur porbably not) ...you may have a laptop which your school gives you for the whole year and has unlimited blocks on it......of cource ive gotten past all these blocks and one of them is the blocking of websites..........first...just go t netscape and download the browser....boom....when your not on the schools network and are on your own.....you can view ANY webpage whether its blocked or not.....ok...so ur in school and you want to go to a blocked webpage and netscape doesnt work.....theres a thing called an i frame which lets you view any blocked pages......

my favorite is one called rollerblast
View this I frame here
Rollerblast is an i frame and it allows you to type in any website in its search bar and you can access it on a computer with limited access....

some other I frames are

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
http://ww1.ultrareach.net//?gtnjs=1
but those are korean and go much slower

There is another way to bypass, although it doesn't work with all systems (on my school pc's it does :P ):

1) Find the site you cannot access due to the filter on the connection
2) Visit http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
3) On the 'domain explorer' tab, enter the 'domain' of the site (just remove the '; at the start)
4) A page will open with all the information about the site, including the ip address
5) Copy and paste that ip address into the firefox (hint, hint :o ) explorer bar
6) HURRAH!

(I would use telnet for this, but alas, the school has blocked the use of command prompt :P )

Euhm dude, why not use a proxy?

as browser :P, firefox rules.

And by the way, boot knoppix from a cd to your laptop, or install Fedora Core 3 linux as dual boot.

Thats really clever! I knew you could do that, but I never thought of using it to get past filters...

I always stick the web address into Google and get Google's cache of it, or use archive.org's Internet Wayback machine.
