soleimanian 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 Windows XP small tips! 1- to take a photo from your screen press Print Screen button, and then paste in an image editor. 2- to take an image from movies in Windows Media Player press Ctrl+I and then save. 3- To change your file extensions open folder option and go to view tab and select Hide extensions for known file types. Now you can change file extensions. Note: do not change system file extensions 4- to Scan and verify the versions of all protected system files type sfc /scannow in Run dialog box. 5- To your computer provide sound cues when the locking keys (CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK, or SCROLL LOCK) are pressed. click Start > Control Panel > Accessibility Options and then select Use Toggle Keys. 6- To uninstall Windows Messenger, open following inf file C:\WINDOWS\inf\ sysoc.inf and then remove “hidden” from following line: msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7 now you can remove Windows Messenger from Add/Remove Windows Components. Also, Windows Live Messenger is much better than Windows Messenger, but Windows Messenger might be useful to sign onto 2 different MSN accounts at once.File extensions can be changed in the Command Prompt, you don't need trick number 3.
