johnstringer 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 Hi,I'm running my PC with a Giga Byte -7N400-PRO2 motherboard. It seems incredibly picky with memory. Right now I have a Kingston 512mb chip which has run without error for quite a while now. However, any other type of memory seems to freeze the computer, even before it gets into the BIOS. Has anyone else had any trouble? Thanks!John

EkkO 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 Use the same type of ram on your computer. Many motherboards don't like two different types. I use two sticks of 512 Corsair on a Gigabyte and it runs flawlessly. Try getting another stick of the same ram that operates at the same speed.
