Before we begin our notice, We would like you to know that, It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for MEMBERs to be ACTIVE. Any member who is not Active at the forums will face termination or Suspension of the Free Web Hosting account provided by us. Please check out the alternatives for not staying active at the forums that you may use, at the announcement section of forums. ( if your not able to be active for prolonged periods )

------- INSTRUCTIONS ----------

We have come to notice that most of the members do not know how to access the cpanel. Infact, many are unaware of the Cpanel itself. The Cpanel is a master control panel just like the Windows control panel which allows you to configure each and every settings which you could have ever imagined.

Cpanel can be Accessed by the following urls.

Suppose you have a subdomain ABC. Then, you can access your cpanel by

OR

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ [ THIS IP ADDRESS IS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR WEBSITE ]

OR

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

You will be asked for USERNAME and PASSWORD. Please enter it to continue logging in your Cpanel. You will be able to configure FTP accounts,create sub-domains, change your password, setup additional mail accounts etc..

THE FOLLOWING ARE VALID FTP ADDRESS which you can use to access FTP :-

2> ftp.ABC.astahost.com [ where ABC is your subdomain ]
3> ftp.YOUDOMAIN.com [ If you have registered your DOMAIN with Us ]

NOTE : THE FTP PASSWORD AND CPANEL PASSWORD ARE SAME!!!


:: EMAIL SETUP ::

We allow our member's to setup UNLIMITED Email addresses. To do so login to your Cpanel.
Xisto provides unlimited POP3 Emails, Forwarders, autoresponders, mailing list, spam assasin, box trapper and a lot more.


:: THE FOLLOWING ARE THE E-MAIL SETTINGS for OUTLOOK EXPRESS ::

INCOMING MAIL SERVER : mail.ABC.astahost.com [ where ABC is your subdomain name ]
OUTGOING MAIL SERVER : mail.ABC.astahost.com [ where ABC is your subdomain name ]

Outgoing PORT : 25
Incoming PORT : 110

USERNAME : THE-USERNAME-YOU-SET-UP-IN-CPANEL@ABC.astahost.com [ Setup mails in the ADD remove mails in Cpanel ]
PASSWORD : [The password that you setup in Cpanel ]

Use mail.YOURDOMAIN.com if you have hosted your domain with us.

[ IF YOU USE INTERNET EXPOLORER, YOU CAN AUTO-CONFIGURE OUTLOOK EXPRESS by logging into Cpanel and go to Add and remove Mails and you will find a link to AUTO-CONFIGURE. Use it to easily configure your Email ]

:: WEB-STATISTICS ::

The WEB-FTP stats in Cpanel show you DETAILED statistics of your members.
Use awstats in web stats section for graphical statistics.
Use Webalizer for analog statistics.

:: MYSQL DATABASES ::

We support mySQL and Postgre databases. They may be configured and setup at respective sections in Cpanel. Use phpmyadmin to access the database and create tables etc.
