ASRock > Cheap And Good Motherboard motherboards

Recommended Posts

I am currently using ECS K7S5A :) It was the cheapest motherboard i've seen in a compushop 3 years ago when I decided to assemble my box. It's about $27. Still works fine until now but I don't know if the components are still upgradeable, i'm doing my best to have the cheapest parts on my com and at the same time, something that would not be easily destroyed, something efficient and not defective - I guess i've done a good job. I'm planning to upgrade my RAM to 512 MB DDR and upgrade my processor to AMD Sempron 2.2 GHz, still, the cheapest good working box around. I'll also upgrade my current video card(64MB 3D VRAM) to a new one with a TV-out and video line in feature(128MB DDR 3D VRAM) :) Well, i'm still looking for money to buy those new things.

I've tried Asrock, it is nice, it has Asus quality in low segment and it's cheap too. But still, i think Gigabyte from the same class is a bit better.. well, maybe because i've been using gigabyte for years and it never let me down.
