dissipate 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 Is there any way to convert a mySQL dump (.sql file) to an access file? Problem is, I downloaded and installed the mySQL server and ran it. But I couldn't restore the dump - it kept complaining about charsets and even the guy who created the dump didn't know what was up.So I'm looking for another way to access the contents of the database. Help anyone?
daf 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 The guy who created dump file can create a .csv or .xls file and send it to you. Then you only need to import it in your mysql db.cheers
