SamiFX 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2012 Hello all;I'm facing a prob.. which I need to get it's sol..It's because I'm offering a computer reapair service in my city and most of clients have old computers thats not compatible with windows7 and many times I face cases when the computer has a crashed hard disk drive and the client has lost all it's cd's ank OS key, somtimes it's a composit computer with no OEM OS came FREE-DOS, most times the computer itself was installed with a pirated XP earlier..the problem is Microsoft and it's partners in our country doese not market WinXP anymore, and the client will not upgrade his PC's hardware and wants to stay with a pirated OS of Microsoft wich I think it's illegal and Microsoft will not like that.Will I install a pirated MS WinXP? how about it's legality? if it's illegal at this time, will it be legal in the near futur? and why Microsoft stop selling WinXP?note: people in my country are not familiar with Linux Systems and will not use cause of many needed sofware designed for MS Windows.advanced thanks for your helpRegardsSami Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
