The mystery of dreams

All too common in our mind’s scenario are our dreams. Dreams….Are they wayward? Are they spontaneous to mind’s feelings, or perhaps past memories? Are they premonitions to something that is going to happen? Are they being influenced by our hardships, excitements and sentiments? Lots of questions arise while thinking about dreams.
A solitary person might dream of being there in a good company whereas he who keeps in good company, dreams to shudder at the thought of being left alone. Life in dreams can be extremely joyful. You’ll find yourself happily passing an exam, coolly securing a (dream) job or getting subjected to nice tastes, smells, caresses, or a sweet warm drench.
Some dreams bring onto life your loved ones who are no more; others have in them kind of search and longing for some dear one of yours, whom you painstakingly seek; some try to persuade you to take an extra risk, to go an extra mile, to facilitate you to make or break.
Some dreams deal with children; some with businesses; and some with hopes, aspirations and silent wishes. Some make you feel so good while others make you scream and cry. Sometimes you feel like slipping off an edge to fall into a bottomless abyss and in others you fly for another world. There are dreams that help you decide and dreams that forbid you from sins. We hardly know where they come from and what inference they hold but it is for certain that dreams are an indispensable part of our lives.
Interpretation of dreams has been there since ancient eras. Leave alone small differences here and there; say modern dreams might involve modern gadgets and lifestyles. A lot of research is being done in this field, forums held and papers published to arrive at a common conclusion. As long as it doesn’t turn out into a night mare, a dream is always welcome.
