I hope you like it... it's very interesting .Janis Joplin BiographyJanis Joplin was born the 19 of January of 1943 in Porth Arthur, Texas, a small town near Lousiana. Although already showed artistic instincts in an early age, Janis was not very popular between her companions of the school, and gained a reputation of marimacho.Before her graduation, Janis already had begun to sing and to paint. After the institute, she entered in the state school Lamar of Beaumont, Texas where she spent a year, soon to register herself in the University of Texas, in Austin. There she met a band called "Waller Creek Boys", which played a mixture of Blues and Rock. Although she felt better than in her native town, Joplin scared a lot of people with her addiction to the alcohol and her robust conduct.After a brotherhood declared her like "the ugliest man of the campus", in the winter of 1963, Joplin went hitch-hiking to San Francisco with her friend Chet Helms. Joplin liked San Francisco and decided to remain. He began singing at bars and taking speed to support the exhaustion that produced this activity to her, but soon she became an addict to amphetamines, and scared of her state, her friends decided to take her back home so that she coud rehabilitate.After spending some time in Porth Arthur, Joplin returned to San Francisco in 1966 with friend Helms who worked like promoter of concerts. Helms thought that she would be the perfect vocalist for the psiquedelic group "Big Brother and The Holding Company".Since then, the group would become popular in the local scene of San Francisco, signing a contract with the house "Mainstream very popular Record". The group played in the Pop Monterrey Festival and New York. Columbia Record paid attention to them and produced their second LP "Cheap Thrills" that soon would become supersale. The frictions between the members of the group began, and Janis decided to let them in 1968 to play as solitaire.At that time her addiction to drugs was increased with the use of the heroin, besides to become absolutely alcoholic. The whiskey mark "Southern Comfort" became famous because of her.With her new band "Kozmic Band Blues", Joplin recorded in 1969 the album "I Got Dem Ol?Kozmic Blues Again Mama", which was considered a bassoon in the race of Joplin. Its fame of rebel and drunk, grew in each concert. The list of men and even women who had passed through her bed turned unfinishable.Janis used to call her wilder lover "Pearl". By that time she even planed her wedding with a certain Seth Morgan, but she restarted to consume heroin, which ingested secretly.The 4 of October of 1970, Janis left its hotel to buy tobacco. The members of her band returned to look for her, because she had not appeared by the studies, but when they entered her room they found her already dead because of overdose.
