Jonnyabc 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 If the admins and moderators have seen my last post, or so, I am asking questions about Xisto's and Xisto's forum organization. Java and JavaScript (preferably not "Java Script") have been well identified as completely different entities (except that they use similar naming conventions) on this forum. So why are we combining them into a single forum?I took Java this last semester in college, and I will say that JavaScript is nothing as far complicated as Java is...unless you're proficient at Java, for web developers out there be glad that for the most part most websites don't depend on Java code. It gave me more respect for the other languages that I have already learned.
truefusion 3 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 This has been brought up before. [1] [2]  Java isn't that hard to learn once you've gotten the hang of the general concepts that can be observed from other languages—though i don't use Java or take the time to learn it completely.
