riddle 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2010 An innocence lostFor a new soul and a vibrant new life With the autumn's hope after the wintery bite Soaring with joy on every smile showered by lifeYearning for a glimpse of the mystery destined Certain to catch a drop of the unfallen dew Soared with an effort distinct and pure There was a firmness in this belief unkempt of fearas there seemed an untold promise was to adhereLike a tender bird on its first flight Plummeted to a seemingly endless voidShrouded with doubt, clogged by despairLearnt never to trust, never to hold anything dearA heart full of doubt and a mind portent of doomWavered from a weak resolve to a despairing gloomKnowing, not all get the delights of the skyWith a crumbled faith, resolved never to tryThere is no protagonist nor there's a clownThere are no words spoken but of hope asunderAn untold saga this is always to remain, of guilt and of lost innocence.
