riddle 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) In the ancient times, the measure of a man's success was attached directly to the number of empires and men he destroyed, overpowered and subdued to create his own castles of ego. This is the very base nature of man. It is but very natural that we still relate our success in the innermost chambers of our hearts to the men we leave behind in the rat race of modern times. Only the societal morals keep us bereft from understanding our deepest desires. It makes us feel the guilt for following our own base instincts and adds to the layers of complex norms that never stand the test of time. Only way to break this wall is to accept what we are without prejudice and use it as the power to build our world. This is the only way to true happiness.
