I need tutorials to make a text-turned based game like http://www.seordcast.com/ or archmage-the reincarnation. im a newbie so need tutorials and people to teach me how to make. can you like send me some tutorials or guides or example scripts for me to edit from to seordcast123@gmail.com? i need some help and what do i need to make this game? Pankyy 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 I was making some kind of RPG web-based game (if you know Bleach, it's something of the kind). What you would need, at least, to do it is:-HTML-Minimum CSS (you can get a free template, but it's always good to know this)-PHP-MYSQL (connection with PHP)-Minimum Javascript(isn't the same than java, so watchout).There aren't such things as example scripts, but what I can advice you to do is to check PHP topics over here of where to find php topics and experiment yourself. I'm no PHP expert nor anything like that, but I learned a lot and were able to make functional scripts.Continuing with what I said about example scripts, there is no way that picking out a random script, without knowing PHP you would be able to change it. However, I just don't know how to make PHP and javascript work together to get a game that is similar to http://www.seordcast.com/ so im wondering how now. and I found a game script that is quite similar to what i wanted to make. it has almost everything i need for the game i want to make. but there seems to be a bit of php error with the script, so is there anyway to check what is wrong with the script?
