Gaming Servers What do you use?

Recommended Posts

Im wondering what the majority of the clan people use here. Shared or dedicated? Dedicated is definitely the best but costs alot per month. What do you guys think are the best hosting for the best price? So far I have found http://ww43.recongamer.com/ really good for shared and i found the best dedicated server deal at http://www.softlayer.com/ on a blowout sale they are having on a few of their servers, with no setup fee.

I host my own server on a spare pc with linux on but my brother brought one from http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. It is a very good game server host u can chat to them on msn and ask them to restart your server if it needs too. i find it very handy when i add a new mod to my brothers server so that i can see if the mod has worked. But its a very good server host company ;)
