hello, i have a compaq sr1617cl , it has a amd sempron 3200+ 1.8 ghz processor, i have recently installed age of empires 3, now when i go to run the game, this msg pops up saying my system appears to be only a 1.0 processor and 1.4 is needed. it also says the warniong may appear because some processors may automatically do this due to some power saving like on notebooks and stuff. can anyone help me on this

Power saving settings can be found in Control Panel > Power Options. See there for the power scheme currently set for your computer. Choose "Home/Office Desk" from the list. This should solve the problem if it was due to power. By the way what is your current actual processor speed (Right click My Computer>Properties to see it)? The speed may also be changed in the BIOS. But I don't recommend you meddle with that if you don't know. If you never changed that, it is unlikely that the settings might have changed.
