curtis07 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2009 I'm looking for a good SMB (Windows file sharing protocol) file/folder indexer. There are already two sites one can use at my school to access the campus-wide shares, but both have severe issues. I want something that can crawl and index shares, has a pretty web front end, and can browse hosts. Here are some I've looked at, but I'm still in search of something better: http://www.zaval.org/products/file-search/ http://ffsearch.sourceforge.net/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/smbindex/ I would really like something that is simple to get running, and I also like PHP.
